Toronto police to investigate latest Rob Ford drug video

Toronto Police will investigate the latest video that appears to show Rob Ford using drugs, possibly crack cocaine, the Globe and Mail reports. "I suspect we will, yeah," Det. Sgt. Gary Giroux, the police officer leading Project Brazen 2, the investigation into possible criminal actions by Rob Ford, told the newspaper.

Giroux said that the police will accept evidence from any source, including the media, and that a new video would fall under the umbrella of Project Brazen 2.

The paper, which paid $10,000 for stills it published last night, says the videos were filmed by a drug dealer on Saturday night in the basement of Rob Ford's sister, Kathy. It's not been made clear exactly what Ford was doing in the videos, though the Globe says the drug was described as crack cocaine.

The plot thickens.
