What's happening in the GTA:

Imagine coming home after a hard day's work to find that your car is gone. According to an employee at the TTC commuter parking lot at Kipling Station, every week a couple of cars are stolen. With no security cameras in place and no one to police the lots, it isn't much of a surprise that it's a target for thieves. Would putting in a basic security camera system curb this?

Brace yourselves for the return of memories of Harris. Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty is warning that hospitals and schools won't exactly be drowning in funds in the upcoming budgets. No more speedy and fun visits to the emergency ward, and no more luxurious classrooms overflowing with up-to-date, quality learning materials?

Cocaine use in Toronto isn't on the rise or on the decline according to a Toronto drug cop. And crack cocaine continues to be a real problem, affecting about half of this city's homeless population. He also says that booze is the biggest problem.

For one unlucky shopper the "heads up!" warning came too late. A large piece of metal from a nearby construction site came crashing through the glass canopy in the Eaton Centre and landed on the poor guy. Citynews reminds us that "it could have happened to anyone"... even YOU! ZOMFGLOOKOUTBBQ!

Public Health has put out a warning to anyone who may have eaten the HepA Hand Roll at Sushi Haru on College on specific dates. It could happen to anyone... even YOU!

Don't be trading garbage bins with your neighbours. It'll create total chaos if you do. TOTAL CHAOS!
